We are looking for a Network Test Specialist / Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in test automation for data or analytics platforms, ideally SAS Viya 4. You should have proven experience with Python or Shell scripting and automation frameworks such as Selenium, PyTest, and JUnit. Familiarity with REST APIs and endpoint testing is essential, alongside hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git, Jenkins, GitLab). We value strong data management, profiling, and validation experience, as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. You must be able to define test direction, strategy, and tooling approach for automation teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will define and implement test automation strategies for SAS Viya 4 applications, including Visual Analytics and Intelligent Decisioning. You will build, maintain, and evolve automation frameworks, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Leading on test data strategy, defect management, and environment configuration will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate within an Agile Scrum team, attending ceremonies, demos, and retrospectives. Additionally, troubleshooting issues across SAS Viya containerized environments such as OpenShift and Kubernetes will be part of your duties. You will ensure that test coverage meets both business and technical objectives through close stakeholder engagement.
