Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following essential criteria:
- Must be a British-born sole UK national.
- SC Cleared and willing to undergo Enhanced Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
- Proficient in Java, with exposure to Python.
- Strong experience developing on Linux.
- Familiar with version control using Git.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies, specifically SCRUM.
- Proficient in working with relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD Pipelines, Apache NiFi, and using Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence).
- Front-end skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Familiarity with search and analytics tools such as Elasticsearch and Kibana.
Responsibilities
In your role as a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:
- Collaborate with end users and stakeholders throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, test, and debug secure software systems.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and microservice-based architectures.
- Migrate on-premise systems to modern cloud-first solutions, particularly on AWS.
- Support junior engineers and contribute to fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Document code, architecture, and decision-making processes to ensure maintainability and quality.
