Requirements
Must:
- 12+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle EBS HCM within the UK public sector.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle EBS Core HR, Compensation, and Benefits modules.
- Solid understanding of HCM technical tools (HDL, HCM Extract, BI reporting, Fast Formulas, Payroll Batch Loader).
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex solutions to diverse teams.
- Experience supporting and optimising existing Oracle EBS HCM solutions.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support Oracle EBS HCM initiatives for UK public sector clients, focusing on Core HR, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Provide hands-on functional expertise across EBS HCM modules.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of HCM technical tools, including HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extract, BI Reporting, Fast Formulas, and Payroll Batch Loader.
- Communicate complex solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support and enhance existing Oracle EBS HCM implementations.
- Produce high-quality project documentation, including status reports with RAG updates, risk and mitigation logs, and RAID logs.

We are an established consulting organization seeking a highly experienced Principal Consultant - Oracle EBS Compensation & Benefits HR Functional Lead to work with major UK public sector clients. In this role, you will act as a trusted expert, translating complex functional and technical concepts into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders ranging from technical teams to senior leadership. We prefer candidates with strong planning and delivery management skills, particularly for release cycles, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and experience coaching/mentoring and managing teams of 5+ members. Familiarity with Lean/Agile methodologies and ITIL best practices is also advantageous.
