Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3rd line technical support experience within a data centre or networking environment.
- Proven knowledge of structured cabling, including copper and fibre cabling is essential.
- Experience with rack and stack procedures, hardware installation, and equipment setup is desired.
- Strong understanding of data centre environments and infrastructure management.
- A full UK Driving License is preferred.
- Candidates will need to be able to work flexibly, with occasional overnight stays as part of their role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys, confirming IT locations, measuring cable routes and device connections.
- Install and build infrastructure, including cabling, racking, fibre patching, ensuring clear labelling and documentation.
- Provide design support through survey reviews, space planning, equipment validation, and design drawings.
Description
We are Amour Recruitment, seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our leading IT client based in Hampshire for a temporary to permanent position. Our team is dedicated to delivering excellence in technical support and engineering tasks. We offer a day rate of £200-£250, equivalent to an annual salary of £52,000-£65,000, and our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
