Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a 1st Line Service Desk / Helpdesk role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting
- Experience using a ticketing or service management system
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain issues clearly to users
- Calm and professional approach when handling support requests
Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT support requests
- Logging, updating, and managing tickets within the helpdesk system
- Troubleshooting and resolving first-line technical issues
- Providing clear updates to customers throughout the lifecycle of a ticket
- Supporting user administration and common troubleshooting within Microsoft 365
- Assisting with joiner, mover, and leaver processes
Description
We are Amour Recruitment, seeking a dependable and customer-focused Technical Service Desk Operator to join a well-established IT services company based in Waterlooville. This role sits at the heart of our support team and is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving technical issues, and delivering clear, reliable service. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 0900-1730, with participation in an out-of-hours rota. We offer the flexibility to work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays and provide a competitive salary of £27,979.
