Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Building Android Applications
- Writing & Deleting code
- Experience with build tools like Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration patterns
- Strong skills in finding and fixing bugs
- Understanding of asynchronous coding patterns
- Experience with performance analysis and optimization
- Ability to deal with legacy code
- Proficiency in Unit & Integration Tests
- Open Source experience
- Ability to work in a globally distributed team
- Self-starting and good at time management
- Experience integrating with bespoke backend services
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and build the Android travel mobile app.
- Set up the infrastructure and the development environments.
- Write and deliver high quality code.
- Lead reviews of colleague’s work.
- Build monitoring dashboards and develop logging & alerting strategies.
- Monitor system performance and availability; improve software quality through root cause analysis.
- Prepare and present solutions and progress updates to product and technology leadership.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across engineering and enterprise teams.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Influence team members by challenging the status quo and demonstrating risk-taking behaviors.
- Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals.
