Requirements
Must:
- Degree qualified in Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar
- Experience in embedded software / firmware development
- Strong C programming skills
- Experience with microcontrollers (PIC/DSP/TMS320 desirable)
- Understanding of embedded systems and control theory
- Methodical problem-solving approach
- Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
- VB.NET / GUI development exposure (desirable)
- Power electronics or control systems experience (desirable)
- Regulated or high-spec engineering environment experience (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for new product development
- Implement and support digital control loops within advanced electronic products
- Maintain and improve existing production firmware
- Work closely with design engineers to ensure software meets technical and customer requirements
- Support software testing, design reviews and release control
- Contribute to project planning, estimates and technical documentation
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety and regulatory standards

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our specialist design team, working on advanced technology products.
