Requirements

Must:
- Experience in Unix - 4+ years of software development or technical support experience - Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems - Experience scripting in modern programming languages - Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent (preferred) - Fluent in English (speak, write, and read) - Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment (preferred) - Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++ (preferred) - Demonstrated skill and passion for problem solving and operational excellence - Ability to understand, troubleshoot and describe complex technical processes and issues - Clear and effective communication & documentation skills - Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously - Proven analytical and quantitative skills with tools such as Excel

Responsibilities

- Migrate metadata and business rules from existing manual templates into Unified Platform for improved listing experiences - Analyze and fix inconsistencies of existing metadata and business rules - Use problem-solving and analytical skills to solve business problems and drive process improvements - Monitor data flow and meet ticket SLAs while driving root cause resolution for defects - Work cross-organizationally with technology and other internal teams on workflow improvements - Provide critical product support and carry out data research for business teams worldwide - Identify and propose solutions for improving the quality of Amazon’s catalogs - Adapt quickly to new technologies and shifts in tasks
