Requirements
Must:
We are looking for someone eager to start their career in project management, who has a genuine desire to work within an equity-driven organization solving real-world problems. To be eligible, you should have:
- Five GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths, plus either 48 UCAS points or equivalent work experience.
- Good computer literacy skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment using tools like MS Teams.
- Self-motivation with good problem-solving abilities.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in project management within a technology team.
Responsibilities
As an IT Project Support Officer Apprentice, your focus will include:
- Providing administrative support to the IT Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered on budget, quality, and time.
- Maintaining project documentation libraries with strict version control and naming conventions.
- Setting up project meetings and ensuring that relevant paperwork is current and distributed timely.
- Assisting with project plans, risks, and issues registers.
- Acting as the first point of contact for project queries from stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and escalating exceptions as required.
- Creating project status reports for boards and management meetings.
- Undertaking your Project Management Apprenticeship course with BPP.
