Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Technical Services Analyst who possesses the following skills:
- Strong understanding of database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with Client/Server software relationships and experience in backup/restore procedures, database cloning, and data integrity verification.
- Knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Competency in using remote access tools like Windows RDP.
- Capacity to review Microsoft Windows Server environments and server performance.
- Advantageous to have knowledge or exposure to Azure.
Responsibilities
As our Technical Services Analyst, your day-to-day activities will include:
- Creating detailed migration and upgrade plans while maintaining a methodical approach.
- Documenting processes, configurations, and dependencies comprehensively.
- Creating pre-flight checklists and conducting post-migration validations.
- Upholding processes and communication with customers to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Proactively identifying risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Conducting thorough pre-migration assessments and validations post-migration.
- Troubleshooting issues that arise during migrations and remaining calm under pressure while maintaining professionalism with our customers.
- Effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and managing expectations through realistic timelines.
