Software Assurance Engineer

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Alternatively, a relevant technical military background with equivalent hands-on engineering experience is also acceptable. Additionally, you’ll need a solid understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) and version control best practices, experience using Jira for change, task, and issue management, as well as strong knowledge of software testing principles, particularly unit testing and code verification. Familiarity with software development processes, life cycles, and documentation standards is essential. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills to interface with multi-disciplinary teams, along with demonstrated leadership capability in coordinating software assurance or QA activities, are required. Experience with project reporting, metrics tracking, and quality status reviews is also highly desirable. For soft skills, we value a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail in process compliance, along with an excellent ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A team-oriented mindset with the ability to mentor and support others, as well as an organized and proactive approach to challenges, is essential.
