Requirements

Must:
We are looking for a candidate with experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and at least 2 years of IT experience. Strong people skills are essential. Additional desired skills and experience include: - Experience with Windows Desktop and Server operating systems - Microsoft 365 administration experience - Proficiency with Office Desktop software - Anti-Virus troubleshooting experience - Experience in troubleshooting Desktop, Laptop, and Printer issues - Operational understanding of Broadband line diagnosis and Networking/Wi-Fi - Familiarity with Mac/Linux systems - Operational knowledge of Active Directory - Strong problem-solving abilities - It would be beneficial if you have obtained qualifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certifications, or a BTEC Level 4 in Computing or a similar field.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will expect you to: - Provide one-touch close troubleshooting during the initial ticket logging process - Handle calls and troubleshoot issues via telephone and remote support software - Log changes and document troubleshooting steps taken using our CRM system - Accurately log time and update tickets - Adhere to standard operating processes - Update documentation in line with best practices and SOPs - Deliver a high level of customer service to all clients - Liaise with third-party software vendors - Determine root causes and implement short- and long-term fixes as appropriate - Work towards achieving team and company KPIs

We are excited to support our client's need for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their growing IT team. Our Service Desk Engineers serve as the first contact point for clients reporting and resolving service incidents and requests, delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills and certifications while working alongside our clients as the business expands. The Salary: The salary for this position is between £26,000 and £32,000, depending on experience. The Hours: The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The Location: The role is based in Bristol with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days in the office).
