Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with 10 years of experience in IT leadership, including at least 5 years focused on Azure cloud strategy and operations. You should have a proven track record of managing large-scale, global cloud environments and distributed teams, along with deep expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture, AI/ML integration, and managed service delivery. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential. You should also possess strong financial acumen, with experience in cloud cost optimization and budgeting. Furthermore, we value demonstrated ability to build and evolve modern cloud services in partnership with cloud providers to ensure agility and continuous improvement. Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP) is desirable. Relevant certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer, or CISSP, are advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
As the Director of Azure Cloud Services, you will define and lead the global Azure cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with our digital transformation and business goals. Your role includes driving the adoption of AI and machine learning capabilities within Azure to boost efficiency and enhance the customer experience while continuously assessing emerging technologies and trends to evolve our cloud roadmap. You will partner with Microsoft and internal subject matter experts to design enterprise-grade Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and AI services, developing resilient, scalable, and secure cloud platforms that support our global operations and business continuity. Additionally, you will oversee 24/7 global cloud operations, manage service support models, and drive operational excellence through automation, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution. Establishing and maintaining cloud governance frameworks, security standards, and compliance policies across all regions will also be a key responsibility.
