We are looking for candidates with proven experience managing and scaling Azure cloud environments. A strong background in DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD, and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep is essential. You should have hands-on expertise in disaster recovery planning and execution, a solid understanding of information security including ISO 27001 frameworks, and familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for 24/7 operations. Excellent problem-solving and incident management skills are required, along with the ability to thrive in a scaling SaaS environment while balancing stability and innovation.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. You will develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks to streamline deployment and operations. Leading and testing disaster recovery and business continuity plans will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you guarantee 24/7 service resilience. You will also support compliance and governance initiatives, including adherence to ISO 27001 security standards. Monitoring system health, performance, and security is critical, and you will proactively identify and mitigate risks. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential to embed best practices in security and DevOps, and you will participate in on-call rotations to provide rapid responses to critical issues.
Description
This position is remote-based within a scaling SaaS firm focused on Resource Management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace the challenge of managing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure while ensuring round-the-clock service continuity. Previous experience in SaaS or high-growth technology companies, knowledge of containerization (such as Kubernetes or Docker), and scripting or programming skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) are desirable but not mandatory. This is a mid-senior level role with a full-time employment type in the software development and IT consulting industry.
