Must:
We are looking for a candidate with strong technical knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). You should have expertise in identity solutions and enterprise applications. Proven experience in IT support is essential, with a background in a 3rd line or senior technical role. A 3rd-level qualification in IT or Computing is advantageous, along with experience using IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and interpersonal abilities are required. ITIL certification (Foundation or above) is preferred.
Responsibilities
As a 3rd Line Support Manager, you will line manage a diverse technical team, handling performance reviews, training plans, and resource planning. You will represent our consultancy in client forums and project groups, providing updates and proposing innovative technical solutions. Acting as the final escalation point for complex issues that are beyond the scope of 1st and 2nd line support will be a key part of your role. You will oversee critical incident resolution to ensure minimal downtime, including conducting root-cause analysis. Additionally, supporting risk identification and mitigation across the managed service will be your responsibility, along with monitoring and reporting on performance, including SLAs and KPIs.
