Requirements
Must:
- Experience in providing First Line Technical Support
- Proficient in Windows, iOS, and MacOS operating systems
- Familiarity with audio-visual equipment
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot print queues
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi support and troubleshooting
- Experience with Helpdesk ticketing systems
- Strong communication skills for staff and parental support
- Basic networking knowledge
- Experience with anti-virus and mobile device management applications
- Willingness to participate in Open Evenings/Days
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for all school users and guests
- Maintain, update, and configure classroom iPad sets
- Maintain and resupply school-owned printing equipment
- Monitor print queues and resolve faults
- Provide managed wireless support and troubleshooting
- Respond promptly to Helpdesk tickets
- Provide induction and device onboarding for new staff and students
- Advise and train staff on IT systems and facilities
- Resolve basic network faults and issues
- Maintain and update the Avaya Telephone System
- Assist parents via email, telephone, or in person
- Monitor Microsoft Endpoint Manager for anti-virus updates
- Manage the Mobile Device Management application
- Assist the Data Team with credential issuance
- Provide limited AV support for Performing Arts events
- Assist with cabling projects and installations
- Stay updated on modern developments related to IT support
- Troubleshoot Office 365 issues and provide training
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested
Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a First Line Technical Support Provider. This role primarily involves delivering exceptional IT support to our schools users, staff, and parents. Our organization values continuous improvement and collaboration within our community. We offer competitive pay at £15.69 per hour, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time positions. The successful candidate will work on-site, engaging directly with the schools diverse technological needs.
