Requirements
Must:
- A passion for Linux and an understanding of its inner workings
- Demonstrable skills in major Linux distributions such as Redhat, SuSE, and Ubuntu
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team members
- Strong problem-solving skills, recognizing that business challenges can be addressed in various ways
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry best practices in Linux, HPC, OpenStack, Containers, and cloud computing
- Demonstrable open-source software or engineering background (e.g., GitHub contributions, participation in open source forums)
- Experience with public and private cloud usage, image creation, and process automation
- Strong drive to build a career in cutting-edge development
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
- Degree-level education
- Familiarity with a range of technologies including OOP, MVC, SQL, TLS, TCP, and VPN
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, and Python
- A positive attitude towards learning and improving existing skills
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Linux-based services and infrastructure to enhance our products
- Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of new systems and platforms
- Take full ownership and responsibility for the successful delivery of projects
- Work with large-scale AI computer systems and supercomputers, as well as explore emerging technologies such as public and private IaaS
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Linux, HPC, OpenStack, and cloud computing
