Must:
We are looking for someone with a solid ServiceNow development background, who is ready to transition into a broader support-focused position. You should have come up through the ranks, possibly starting as an admin, then moving into development, and now being prepared to take ownership of platform support. A good grasp of ITIL and ITSM is essential, particularly in incident and problem management. Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS is required. You'll need to be organized, proactive, and confident when dealing with technical issues, alongside strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical teams.
Responsibilities
In this hybrid role, you will spend about 35% of your time on development. The remaining work involves maintaining a global, business-critical ServiceNow environment. This includes managing incidents, problems, and defects to ensure that tickets progress efficiently. You will deliver configuration fixes, handle upgrades, test patches, and monitor performance. Collaboration with internal teams and supporting junior colleagues will also be important aspects of your role.
