Must:
- Strong Core Java development skills
- Proven experience with low-latency system design and optimisation
- Hands-on experience with low-latency collections
- Familiarity with Chronicle Queue
- Knowledge of Agrona Ring Buffer (must be tested)
- Experience with UDP messaging (highly desirable)
- Solid FIX protocol experience
- Basic knowledge of FX
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise low-latency Core Java systems with a microsecond-level performance focus
- Measure, analyse, and tune end-to-end latency
- Support migration from a legacy platform to a new low-latency architecture
- Build and maintain pricing distribution connectivity across venues
- Deliver significant FIX protocol integration work
Description
We are seeking a Core Java Low Latency Developer to support a major transformation of our distribution connectivity platform. This role is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Central London office. We offer competitive daily rates inside IR35.
