Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect (or a Lead/Senior Developer who has stepped into architecture)
- Strong background in cloud solutions - AWS or Azure
- Proven experience delivering greenfield work, proof of concepts and MVPs
- Comfortable working in agile product environments
- Exposure to AI/Gen AI projects or a strong understanding of the principles
- Able to design compliant, production-ready solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - able to challenge and influence
- Confident presenting technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Creative mindset - enjoys experimenting and trying new approaches
Responsibilities
- Take problem statements from across the business and turn them into tangible prototypes, MVPs, and scalable digital products
- Design and lead technical solutions in a cloud-first environment
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure alignment to enterprise strategy
- Stay hands-on enough to validate ideas quickly
- Consult with product teams post go-live to ensure whats built is adopted, maintained, and evolved properly
- Fully understand the business streams you support, becoming a trusted voice in that space
Description
We are a well-established UK organization investing heavily in our Innovation & Digital capability. Our Architecture function is forward-thinking, focusing on genuine innovation, not static platforms or traditional governance roles. We offer a competitive salary of £84,000 (including cash allowance), enhanced holiday (28 days plus holidays), and private medical coverage. Our flexible hybrid working model typically involves coming into the office 1-2 days per month, with core working hours of 9-5 and flexibility around start/finish times.
