Requirements
Must:
- A solid background in both software development and security - comfortable with code and risk in equal measure.
- Proven experience integrating security into agile environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Azure PaaS and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, JSON.
- Hands-on experience with application security tools and DevSecOps processes.
- Understanding of frameworks and standards like OWASP, NIST SSDF, ISO27001, NCSC.
- Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design reviews.
- Confident in owning security strategy and tooling across complex product landscapes.
- Strong communication skills - able to engage with engineers and executives alike.
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in shifting the culture towards DevSecOps across multiple product teams, embedding security from the ground up.
- Define and roll out a product security strategy that aligns with business goals.
- Work closely with developers to automate and streamline security testing.
- Support penetration testing activities with smart, secure remediation.
- Serve as the go-to expert on application and cloud security, keeping documentation, training, and processes sharp and relevant.
- Report on compliance and present updates to senior leadership, ensuring security remains a priority.
