Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has a background in software development and security, as you will need to be comfortable with both code and risk. Proven experience in integrating security into agile development environments is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of Azure PaaS and Azure DevOps (CI/CD). Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, YAML, and JSON is required, as well as expertise in application security tools and DevSecOps processes. A solid understanding of key frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST SSDF, ISO27001, NCSC) is expected. Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure design reviews is crucial. You should feel comfortable owning the security strategy and tooling across complex, modern product landscapes. Strong communication skills are necessary, as you'll need to engage confidently with both engineers and executives.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the cultural shift towards DevSecOps across multiple product teams. You will embed security requirements and tooling into the software development lifecycle from the ground up. Defining and implementing a product security strategy aligned with our business goals will be one of your key tasks. You will collaborate with developers to automate and streamline security testing, support pen test activities, and guide secure remediation efforts. Additionally, you will serve as an internal subject matter expert on application and cloud security matters and keep documentation, training, and security processes up to date and relevant. Finally, you will report on compliance and present regular updates to senior leadership.
