Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience of at least 5 years in a similar capacity
- Proven JAVA programming experience, including Spring Boot
- Fluent in writing JAVA code
- Experience with Kafka or a similar platform
- Familiarity with Scala and Spark
- Integration experience with services like PostgreSQL, Redis, or S3
- Understanding of engineering practices such as continuous delivery, clean code, and automated testing
- Experience working in Agile development and/or DevOps teams
- Proficiency in using GitHub/GitLab for source control
- Knowledge of Test Driven Development tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies
- Experience with Public Cloud services, such as AWS
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and deploy new or enhanced features for backend services
- Participate in team elaboration and estimation of user stories
- Build frequent, small releases to maintain team momentum
- Collaborate closely with other engineers in cross-functional feature teams
- Maintain operational responsibility for the services owned by your team
- Build, optimize, and operate Continuous Deployment pipelines
