Requirements
Must:
- I have 10+ years of experience developing performance-critical applications in a production environment using Scala, Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or other relevant modern programming languages.
- I possess strong RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or others).
- I can direct significant company-wide projects and set a technical vision.
- I have a good command of the English language.
- I am deeply involved in making architectural decisions and setting the standards and direction for my team.
- I am skilled in implementing advanced CI/CD pipelines and robust testing strategies to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and high code quality.
- I have a passion for software development and continuously improving my knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities
I will join Agoda’s Back-End Engineering department to build scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that host our core business logic. I will work on mission-critical systems that serve millions of users daily. My role will involve working on innovative projects, using cutting-edge technologies, and making a significant impact on our business and the travel industry. I will employ state-of-the-art CI/CD and testing techniques to ensure everything works without downtime, with systems that are self-healing and responsive to extreme loads or unexpected input.
