Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions (APIs, ETL, microservices, ESBs) in complex enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise with middleware or iPaaS platforms.
- Strong programming skills (Java, C#, Python or similar), with solid understanding of JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
- Experience architecting and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse/schema design.
- Skilled in Power BI (dataset design, modelling, report/dashboard delivery).
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills able to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust integration solutions (APIs, ETL, microservices, ESBs), developing reusable patterns and frameworks for secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across enterprise systems.
- Select, configure, and manage middleware/iPaaS platforms, optimizing performance, availability, and security with strong monitoring and error-handling practices.
- Define data architectures, schemas, and ETL pipelines, embedding governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management for operational and analytical needs.
- Collaborate with business teams to deliver high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports, designing optimized datasets for data-driven decisions.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to align integration strategy with business goals and clearly communicate technical solutions.
- Produce robust documentation and establish best-practice standards for integration and data management.
- Mentor junior colleagues, with scope to line manage and grow a small team as the function develops.
