Requirements

Must:
- I require at least 3 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT) security engineering, incident response, or a related field. - I expect the ability to manage multiple assessments and projects simultaneously. - A strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA systems is essential. - I value strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Proven experience with OT and IT security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), vulnerability detection, network discovery, log collection systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions is necessary. - A UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

- As an Operational Technology Information Security Analyst, I will be responsible for safeguarding our organisation's Operational Technology environments from cyber threats. - I will implement and manage OT security controls, measures, and technologies to protect critical assets and systems. - Conducting risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security testing will be part of my role. - I will develop and implement incident response plans while ensuring compliance with regulations. - Proactive threat hunting and reactive incident response will be necessary tasks. - I will provide regular reports on security status, including incidents, vulnerabilities, and the overall health of OT systems. - Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and external cybersecurity teams, will be essential.

At Affinity Water, I have an exciting opportunity to work in our Cyber Security Team. We are the UK's largest water-only supplier, providing sustainable, high-quality water to 3.85 million customers across the Southeast of England. My mission is to redefine the way water companies connect with their customers and communities while making better use of water and safeguarding the local environment now and in the future. I offer a salary range of £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on skills and experience. An out-of-hours allowance will be provided on a 1 in 4 rotation (separate payment on top of salary) and benefits will be discussed during the interview. My working hours are from 08:30am - 17:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 08:30am - 16:30pm (Friday).
