Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading enterprise architecture in large, complex environments (Essential)
- Strong background in defence/aerospace programmes within secure or government contexts (Essential)
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, ArchiMate) (Essential)
- Deep understanding of secure-by-design principles and cybersecurity (Essential)
- Experience in architectural governance, design assurance, and cross-domain delivery
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, cloud architect, CISSP)
- Experience contributing to industry standards or thought leadership
- Exposure to international or regulatory environments
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise architecture development and governance across programmes
- Define and maintain architecture principles, standards, and frameworks aligned to business strategy
- Shape architecture strategy for a major Line of Business
- Provide technical leadership across cloud, infrastructure, data, applications, and security
- Chair design reviews and ensure alignment with strategic and security objectives
- Drive innovation, research, and capability development
- Represent the organisation at senior external forums
- Mentor and develop the internal architecture community
