Outreach IT Technician

- A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in a 1st line customer-facing role; 2nd line experience is advantageous. - Valid driver’s license required for travel to multiple customer sites. - Completion of 5 GCSEs, including Mathematics and English at grade C or above, or an equivalent professional IT qualification. Essential Technical Skills: - Installation of IT hardware and software. - Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10 and above) and Windows Server. - Strong understanding of Active Directory, file permissions, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy. - Excellent troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, and networking (routing and switching). - Experience with Exchange, Office 365, and PowerShell. Desirable Technical Skills: - Experience with Capita sims.net (server & client side), Veeam Backup, and Apple products. - Familiarity with Ubiquiti products, Microsoft Azure, and knowledge of VOIP systems. - Understanding of IP CCTV Systems and Door Access Control (Paxton).
