- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with a user-friendly approach to support.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, ITIL) are desirable.

Responsibilities
As a Level 2 IT Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to staff and students, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and interactive displays.
- Supporting the deployment and updating of software across school devices and systems.
- Performing routine maintenance of servers, networks, and backup systems to ensure consistent availability and performance.
- Monitoring IT systems for faults or performance issues, proactively resolving problems to minimize downtime.
- Assisting with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and security settings in line with school policies.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection and security protocols, reporting any issues or breaches appropriately.
- Documenting all IT procedures, issues, and resolutions clearly for use by the wider team.
- Collaborating with the AIT HQ team to support the implementation of technology initiatives at the local level.
- Staying informed of emerging technologies and best practices relevant to education IT environments.
