Requirements
Must:
- I require proven experience (2+ years) in IT roles, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
- Strong leadership skills are essential, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- I expect a comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and protocols, including hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness, are a must.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are needed, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Project management experience is necessary, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate IT projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework and other IT service management practices is preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or ITIL are desirable.
- A valid driving license is required.
Responsibilities
- I will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking infrastructure.
- It is my responsibility to develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
- I will coordinate with the senior AIT HQ team to align local IT initiatives with broader organizational goals and strategies.
- Providing technical support to staff and students will be part of my daily duties, resolving issues promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- I will manage IT projects within the local area, from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation.
- Monitoring IT performance metrics and KPIs is crucial, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of IT will be essential for recommending innovations to enhance operational effectiveness.
- I will collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment, software licenses, and support services.
- Regular reporting and updates for the senior AIT HQ team will be my responsibility, summarizing IT activities, achievements, and challenges within the local area.
