Requirements
Must:
- Significant experience in cybersecurity, particularly in network segmentation and application security
- Proven technical depth in network isolation, application segmentation, and SDLC security
- Practical experience in network segmenting existing networks into zones and end-to-end segregation
- Deep knowledge of industry-standard frameworks (e.g., NIST, SANS, ITU)
- Experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, and data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and compliance audits
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
- Relevant certifications like SABSA, TOGAF, or network/application security certifications
- Working knowledge of legacy and modern networking infrastructure
- Experience with inter and intra-zone security controls and cybersecurity tools
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and documentation tools like Confluence
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Security Architecture colleagues to produce high-quality architecture artefacts
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand requirements and maintain clear communication
- Document concise and accurate Reference Architectures, Standards, Patterns, and Strategies
- Articulate problem statements, technical debts, and risks to senior management
- Ensure governance is followed and provide data-driven evidence for decision-making
- Work with PMOs, BAs, SAs, SMEs, and Policy owners to capture and deliver requirements
- Produce strategies and future-state architectures with benefits, timelines, and dependencies
- Manage challenging stakeholders and ensure architecture artefacts undergo peer review
- Present technical publications at design authorities for feedback and approval
- Identify and escalate technical and organizational risks and issues
- Provide technical thought leadership and support in technology integration
