Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience in Netcool architecture (OMNIbus, Impact, NOI, Agile Service Manager, Precision)
- Deep understanding of OSS domains including Service Fulfilment, Assurance, Automation, Cloud Telco, Network Management, and COTS products
- Proven expertise in cloud-native OSS architecture and automation platforms (PEGA, Blue Prism, Resolve, UI Path)
- Strong telecom domain knowledge
- Ability to integrate multi-domain OSS systems smoothly
- Experience in governance and standardization of architecture
- Mentorship experience to guide internal teams
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on solutioning experience in Netcool architecture
- Ensure seamless integration with OSS domains like Service Fulfilment and Customer Experience Management
- Align diverse market-specific stacks into a harmonized global OSS landscape
- Mentor and guide internal architects/designers for knowledge transfer
- Challenge existing approaches and enforce governance discipline
- Mitigate risks associated with OSS transformations impacting business operations and customer experience
- Implement industry best practices and reference architectures for OSS modernization
Description
We are a forward-thinking telecommunications company based in Newbury, UK, seeking to enhance our OSS capabilities through the hiring of a specialized Netcool Solution Architect for a 6-month contract. Our hybrid work model allows for flexibility, with colleagues expected to be in the office twice a week. The role offers the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable team while providing the necessary expertise to guide our internal architects and reinforce our OSS framework for better operational efficiency.
