Requirements
Must:
- 8+ years in network-security architecture or senior engineering across enterprise environments
- Hands-on design/migration of at least two of the following at scale: Check Point R8x firewalls, Cisco or Juniper LAN and WAN, F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM/AFM, Zscaler ZIA & ZPA, SD-WAN
- Strong routing fundamentals (BGP, OSPF, route maps, redistribution)
- Desirable scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Proven ability to lead multi-vendor, multi-disciplinary teams
- Confident facilitator with experience running workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Proactive communicator, able to provide unsolicited progress updates and document decisions promptly
- Expertise with Visio or draw.io for architecture diagrams; PowerPoint for executive decks; Word/Confluence for LLDs
- Familiarity with Vodafone change tools (ServiceNow, Remedy) and SharePoint governance
- Qualifications: any two preferred CCNP/CCIE Enterprise or Security, JNCIP/JNCIE, F5 CTS, Check Point CCSE, Zscaler ZCCA-IA/ZCCA-IAE, TOGAF, ITIL?v4
- Proven experience as a Technical Design Lead/Technical Authority, with ownership of end-to-end technical design decisions in complex environments

Responsibilities
- Design and migrate security architecture across enterprise environments
- Lead and manage design decisions, coordinating across multi-vendor and multi-disciplinary teams
- Facilitate workshops and presentations to senior stakeholders
- Proactively communicate project progress and address any blockers
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation with industry-standard tools
- Engage in customer meetings in London 2-3 times a month
- Be available for out-of-office hours and long shifts as needed
Description
We are offering a 5-month contract for a Technical Solution Architect role that allows you to work from home, with occasional trips to London for customer meetings. You will join a dynamic team where you will have the opportunity to lead technical design in complex environments and make significant contributions to our projects.
