Requirements

Must:
We require candidates to have a minimum of 10 years of overall experience in HR technology or ERP systems, with a strong functional expertise. Specifically, you should possess at least 5 years of experience with Workday HCM, including configuration knowledge and a solid understanding of end-to-end process flows. A deep understanding of UK HR processes and compliance is essential, specifically regarding employment law, GDPR, and statutory reporting. You should be able to design and validate end-to-end test scenarios, and you must have experience facilitating workshops with senior stakeholders. A strong knowledge of Workday integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors) and their impact on testing is crucial. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required, as you will lead in complex, fast-paced programs.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will look for you to architect end-to-end test scenarios across various Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Talent & Performance, and Help. You will incorporate UK-specific compliance and regulatory requirements into testing activities. You’ll also facilitate test alignment workshops with HR SMEs and Workstream Leads, ensuring clarity around scope, dependencies, and acceptance criteria. Leading test execution workshops is vital, as you will guide client testers through Workday processes and ensure accurate scenario execution. You’ll monitor test progress across SIT, UAT, and E2E cycles, track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and escalate risks proactively. Additionally, you will act as the Workday Subject Matter Expert for HCM processes, providing hands-on support for issue resolution and defect reproduction. You will collaborate with Test Leads and Programme Management to maintain alignment on project timelines, quality gates, and reporting. Finally, ensuring data readiness for UK-specific scenarios is key, along with maintaining audit-ready documentation of test outcomes.

Description

Preferred qualifications include experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM, and familiarity with test automation for Workday (e.g., Tosca), with the ability to identify candidates for automation. Experience working with third-party HR or recruiting systems is a plus, as is exposure to Ivalua for procurement if cross-functional testing is required. You’ll be working on-site at client engagements, with a commitment of 3 days per week mandatory in Warwick, UK, and we are looking to fill this role immediately.
