Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of application security design principles
- Experience in conducting secure design reviews
- Proficiency in threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE and PASTA
- Knowledge of trust boundaries and secure authentication design
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML
- Experience preventing broken access control and implementing centralized authorization
- Expertise in identifying top API security risks and designing mitigations
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Design security into application architecture to prevent vulnerabilities
- Conduct structured secure design reviews and threat modeling
- Identify and document trust boundaries and entry points in systems
- Validate authentication, authorization, and data protection measures
- Recommend design controls and document associated risks
- Collaborate with development teams to implement security best practices
- Continuously assess emerging security threats and update security measures accordingly
- Provide training and guidance to teams on security methodologies and practices
