Requirements
Must:
- 3–4+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally with a focus on native mobile applications.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work — from discovery and research to final visual design.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
- Comfort in conducting user testing, gathering feedback, and iterating rapidly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- A genuine love for great design and the details that elevate a product from good to exceptional.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of native mobile and web applications from concept through to delivery.
- Translate user insights and business requirements into seamless, human-centered experiences.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs that balance usability with visual excellence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
- Champion design consistency and accessibility, contributing to and evolving our design system.
- Stay up to date with the latest UX/UI trends, interaction patterns, and platform guidelines (iOS & Android).
- Advocate for the user in every design conversation, ensuring our products are both functional and delightful.
Description
We are excited to offer a salary of up to £65,000 (depending on experience) for this position. The role follows a hybrid working model, with 1 day per week based in our media office. You will join a creative and supportive environment where design has a seat at the table, and you will have opportunities to shape our design culture and processes as we grow.
