Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with React
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js
- Familiarity with Git
- Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure
- Eager to learn about scalable, real-time systems
- Collaborative team player who values knowledge sharing
- Nice-to-haves include Redis, DynamoDB, Postgres or MySQL, WebSockets, AWS services (CloudFront, ECS, Lambda, S3, EC2, ElastiCache), Docker, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, infrastructure tooling (e.g. Pulumi), and build tools such as Vite or Webpack
- Occasional exposure to PHP
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain existing production systems
- Contribute to the next generation of our real-time platform
- Customize and adapt products for different use cases
- Support live deployments and troubleshoot as required
- Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing products
- Develop new features and services within the core platform
- Support infrastructure and deployment workflows
- Follow technical direction while contributing ideas and improvements
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues in time-sensitive environments
- Learn from senior team members and actively contribute to a collaborative culture
