Requirements
Must:
- 8 years of experience in software engineering
- Proven track record of leading technical initiatives
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Deep expertise in Vue.js and modern frontend development
- Strong backend experience in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design
- Proficient in SQL/database design
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS
- Strong problem-solver and critical thinker
- Security-first mindset; background in cybersecurity is a plus
Responsibilities
- Act as the bridge between Java/Spring backend and Vue.js frontend
- Take ownership of feature development from concept to delivery
- Ensure seamless integration across the stack
- Maintain architectural consistency
- Drive best practices across the engineering team
- Lead the design and delivery of new features
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of solutions
- Translate high-level requirements into clear technical solutions
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams
- Mentor junior engineers to elevate the teams technical capabilities
Description
We are a growing tech company based in Manchester City Centre, looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer to help shape and deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions across our platform. This role allows for flexible working arrangements, with a preference for candidates in the North West, but we are open to fully remote candidates. Our team meets in the Manchester office once a quarter to collaborate. We offer potential share options as part of our benefits.
