Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in Linux kernel and driver development
- Proven skills in C/C++ and embedded systems programming
- Experience with Yocto and ideally RTOS environments
- Confident in hardware bring-up and low-level debugging
Responsibilities
- Developing and customizing the Linux kernel and device drivers using the Yocto build system
- Writing high-quality C/C++ code for embedded targets
- Leading board bring-up, system debugging, and testing on real hardware
- Working closely with hardware engineers on onsite debugging and validation
Description
We are looking for a Contract Embedded Linux Engineer for a 69-month contract, focusing on board bring-up and Linux system development for cutting-edge embedded platforms. If you love getting hands-on with hardware, debugging at board level, and building robust embedded systems from the ground up, this role is for you. We offer flexibility with a hybrid work model, with a preferred onsite location in Belfast.
