Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of software design and development experience using National Instruments LabVIEW (CLD preferred)
- Experience in automated testing, measurement, or control
- Expertise in system design and specification
- Ability to create top-level system diagrams and drawings
- Experience with system testing and fault finding
- Team-oriented with a drive to progress to senior levels
- In-depth knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW
- Proven track record in systems engineering
- Experience in creating high-level system designs, including specifying instrumentation and sensors
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic business
- Capable of working to tight deadlines and delivering projects on time
- Ability to interpret customer requirements effectively
- Experience managing projects within tight budgets and timelines
- Strong organizational skills to manage targets independently
- Ability to collaborate within a multi-skilled design team
Responsibilities
As a key member of our Engineering Team, I will be responsible for translating customer engineering requirements into tailored software solutions. This will involve working with both commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components and custom-designed interfaces, including LabVIEW and other software programs. I will design system concepts, develop bespoke software, and troubleshoot issues. This role will offer me the opportunity to create a wide variety of custom products that provide clients with high-quality engineered solutions delivered on time, every time.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about engineering and committed to delivering projects on time. You should be eager to gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and commissioning diverse equipment. Additionally, familiarity with GPIB, RS232, TCP/IP, and LXI, as well as experience using C/C++ and in the aerospace and defense industry, would be beneficial.
