Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016 and above) and Oracle (11G - 19C), including scripts, backups, and restores.
- Proficiency in data migration and mapping.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment while remaining calm under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of database solutions.
- Monitor and control requests for new work, ensuring high quality and standards.
- Ensure adherence to incident, problem, and change management procedures while accelerating service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Oversee IT security remediation actions and contribute to budget management.
- Advocate for a positive, can-do culture within the team.
Description
We are excited to offer a temporary full-time position as a Technical Lead (Database) with an hourly rate of £23.17, located in Carbrook, Sheffield. The contract is expected to run until March 2027 with a hybrid working pattern of 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data management and technology and thrives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in analyzing, planning, and managing IT implementations in line with strategic objectives, ensuring that our organization meets its needs effectively.
