Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of C# and HTML for developing custom applications and web interfaces, with a strong understanding of web design principles and user experience best practices (advantageous).
- Knowledge of AVEVA System Platform or similar products (advantageous).
- Experience using AI tools to assist with code development (advantageous but not essential).
Responsibilities
- Deliver a key automation service to multiple business units.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of SQL Server to design and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Develop custom applications using C#, HTML, and Java to extend the functionality of manufacturing execution systems.
- Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces and dashboards for monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
- Follow safe systems of work for all daily activities, maintaining the highest HSEQ standards.
Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join our leading organization based in Grangemouth. This role offers a competitive rate of £40 an hour for an initial duration of 12 months. We are looking for a talented individual who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Information Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems, working with a range of systems and coding languages to streamline production processes.
