Requirements
Must:
We expect you to have previous software testing experience in Java and React. It's essential that you are familiar with testing in cloud-based environments and have experience with the deployments and configuration of CI/CD pipelines for test runs. Additionally, expertise with tools such as Grafana, RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka, API testing, Kubernetes, and SQL databases is required.
Responsibilities
As a Software Test Engineer, you will work closely with our software development team. Your main responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans and test cases for our software solutions, reviewing and documenting test results, and developing and maintaining automated test scripts. You will be tasked with end-to-end testing of applications, investigating issues, reporting and tracking bugs, testing the backend for message queues, and providing automated tests for REST APIs.
Description
This is a 5-month contract position based in Manchester with a hybrid work model. We offer a competitive day rate that aligns with market rates and is outside of IR35 regulations. The start date is as soon as possible. If you are interested, please apply now to be considered for this position.
