Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a software engineer with strong Java skills
- Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript is advantageous
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Passion for agile development and delivering user value at pace
- Experience with end-to-end testing and Git-based version control
- Comfortable using AI coding assistants to boost productivity
- Collaborative, open-minded, and passionate about continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Lead feature development and contribute to technical strategy within the team
- Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver high-impact user features
- Write clean, maintainable code using Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, and Vue.js
- Champion engineering best practices, including TDD, pairing, mob programming, and continuous delivery
- Embed security considerations throughout the development process
- Debug, optimise, and maintain a high-performance codebase
- Stay informed about emerging engineering trends and bring fresh ideas
- Mentor colleagues and support capability growth across the team
Description
