Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in network security and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of security measures, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
- Ability to collaborate with IT teams and communicate technical information effectively.
- Expertise in incident response and security incident analysis.
- Familiarity with ICT Network Services and infrastructure support at 2nd/3rd line levels.
- Awareness of current IT strategies and ability to integrate changes into security protocols.
- Skills in monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools.
- Experience in project management and change management processes.
Responsibilities
- I will serve as a key reference point for network security across IT teams, providing guidance on best practices and specialized expertise.
- I will conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits, and continuously monitor network traffic for anomalies.
- I will collaborate with IT teams ensuring that security measures are effectively integrated into network architecture and applications.
- I will analyze security incidents, develop remediation measures, and prepare detailed reports for management.
- I will participate in incident response activities, working alongside external security teams when necessary.
- I will provide training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices, promoting a culture of security across departments.
- I will assist in designing, implementing, managing, and provisioning ICT Network Services to align with our standards.
- I will ensure operational support by providing timely 2nd/3rd line support for ICT Network Services and resolving incidents efficiently.
- I will support the continuous development of network services and infrastructure in line with our strategic initiatives.
- I will assist with the planning and enhancement of new and existing network services and technologies, aligning workload with project timelines.
Description
We are looking for a Security Analyst who will be an integral part of our Digital Services department, contributing to the Infrastructure and Operations Team. This is a hybrid position based in London for an initial duration of 6 months, with a daily rate of £450 outside of IR35. Your role will involve active engagement in developing our network infrastructure, providing expert support, and ensuring the security of our network services against cyber threats. You will be involved in various aspects of network security, from operational support to development and change management, ultimately enhancing our clients' overall security posture.
