Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with hands-on experience managing Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar SaaS ERP platforms.
- A strong knowledge of quarterly patching, release planning, and environment refreshes is essential.
- Familiarity with integration flows and testing, such as Boomi, is required.
- I expect a solid understanding of RBAC, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder, and vendor-management skills are necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
- I plan and manage Oracle Fusion quarterly patches, environment refreshes, and release schedules across development (DEV), testing (TEST), pre-production (PRE-PROD), and production (PROD) environments.
- I coordinate regression and user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects, and maintain regression packs.
- My role includes overseeing stakeholder communications, conducting risk assessments, and delivering downtime notifications for all updates.
- I act as the primary liaison with Oracle support and implementation partners to drive issue resolution effectively.
- Additionally, I develop a release management playbook and support a seamless transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Description
This position is based in Manchester with a hybrid working model, and is initially for a duration of 6 months or more. The rate for this role is £600 per day and it falls inside IR35, requiring the use of an umbrella company. I am seeking an experienced Cloud Environment & Release Manager to take end-to-end ownership of Oracle Fusion ERP environments, ensuring that quarterly updates, environment refreshes, and release activities are planned, tested, and delivered smoothly, thereby supporting a large ERP implementation and establishing robust, repeatable release processes.
