Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in developing and supporting low code applications using Power Platform and M365.
- Strong knowledge of C#, JavaScript, and experience with HCL Notes (Lotus Notes), including Formula language and LotusScript.
- Familiarity with integrating Power Apps with Microsoft services such as Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Experience with Common Data Service (CDS) or other data management solutions.
- Ability to build and maintain plugins and PowerApps Component Framework (PCF).
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users and stakeholders.
- Experience creating documentation and training materials for end-users is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management control procedures in a development environment.
Responsibilities
- I will develop and support low code SMBC BI business applications using the Power Platform.
- I will collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and design innovative solutions.
- I will design, develop, test, and deploy Power Apps applications using either the Canvas or Model-driven app approach.
- I will integrate Power Apps applications with Microsoft services.
- I will manage and store application data effectively using CDS or other data sources.
- I will build and maintain plugins and PCF for PowerApps to enhance functionality.
- I will implement best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure optimal performance and scalability of applications.
- I will diagnose and resolve issues in applications, providing ongoing technical support and maintenance.
- I will assist in creating documentation and training materials for end-users and stakeholders.
- I will collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on Power Platform projects, promoting a culture of innovation and improvement.
- I will adhere to my Development Team's Change Management Control procedures to ensure all production updates receive proper approvals.
- I will assist in supporting remaining applications in Lotus Notes (HCL Notes).
Description
We are looking for a Power Platform Developer for an initial 6-month contract within our Financial Services client based in London.
