Requirements
Must:
- I have solid experience as a Platform Engineer.
- I possess practical experience in cloud technologies, operations, and must be familiar with Oracle Cloud infrastructure services.
- I have experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior engineers.
- I hold a certification (or am progressing toward certification) with a major cloud service provider.
- I have experience in microservices platforms, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Responsibilities
- I mentor and collaborate with teams to drive progress and innovation.
- I translate product visions into reality, enhancing developer experiences and enabling organizations to fully embrace cloud-native technologies.
- I partner with strategy, enterprise architecture, and application teams to lead cloud automation and Kubernetes initiatives.
- I inspire and support fellow engineers, fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and continuous learning.
Description
We are seeking a Platform Engineer (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to join our team across the UK. This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £90,000 plus benefits. As hands-on technical leaders, our engineers help shape and deliver cloud-native transformation projects, driving automation, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps or SRE practices, while guiding agile teams to create innovative solutions that leverage the full potential of our hyperscale partners and their ecosystems.
