Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a Level 2 Desktop Engineer or similar role
- Proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Azure and Entra environments
- Familiarity with multi-factor authentication systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software
- Ability to conduct network diagnostics using approved tools
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience in endpoint management for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and tablets
- Knowledge of MFD Uniflow systems for printing support
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT support, handling various service requests and facilitating their resolution
- Conduct initial investigations to resolve or allocate incidents
- Install and remove hardware or software according to provided instructions
- Maintain thorough documentation of all changes made
- Utilize standard diagnostic procedures to test and troubleshoot installations
- Keep accurate records and provide user assistance while following escalation protocols
- Contribute to the development of installation standards
- Diagnose network issues and collect network performance statistics
- Perform agreed maintenance and configuration tasks to support incident management
- Provide comprehensive support across various IT services, including meeting room setups and network issues
Description
This is an office-based position located in Newham, requiring 36 hours of work per week from Monday to Friday. The role is initially for a 3-month contract, with a pay rate of £250 daily via umbrella.
