Must:
I am looking for a candidate with strong experience in IBM ACE/IIB (Integration Bus) development. Proficiency in Middleware applications and a solid understanding of interface processes are essential. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution within a complex financial environment. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multiple teams across the business are also required.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to develop and maintain message flows, DFDL message models, and interface processes that support key banking operations. You will provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for both internal and external application interfaces. Collaborating with application teams and developers, you will design and deliver optimal interface solutions. Additionally, you will support both new development and ongoing maintenance for interfaces that are integral to the bank's operations. Contributing to the creation and updating of technical documentation for all interface processes will be part of your responsibilities, as well as assisting in code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency in all deliverables.
Description
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development, maintenance, and support of critical internal and external interfaces across Europe and North America. The position will sit within my development team, which is responsible for the bank's Middleware applications, focusing on IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and related technologies. The contract is for an initial 6 months (inside IR35) on a hybrid basis, requiring you to be onsite 3 days a week, with a compensation of £415 per day.
